What we collect

NestNear does not require an account and collects no personal information by default. Preferences (budget, commute, room type, shortlist) are stored locally in your browser's localStorage and never sent to our servers.

If you contact us by email, we retain your email address and message content solely to respond to you. We do not share this data with third parties.

Analytics

We use privacy-respecting, cookieless analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns (pages visited, session duration, referrer source). No personal identifiers or cross-site tracking are used. No cookies are set for analytics purposes.

Third-party content

Property listings link to external providers (iQ, Unite Students, Vita Student, etc.). When you click through to a provider's site, their own privacy policy applies. NestNear has no control over data collected by those services.

Property images are loaded directly from provider CDNs. Your browser may send a referrer header to those CDNs when images load.

Cookies

NestNear sets no tracking or advertising cookies. A session cookie may be set by Next.js infrastructure for technical routing purposes only.

Your rights

You may clear your locally stored preferences at any time by clearing your browser's localStorage for nestnear.com. For any other data requests, contact us at hello@nestnear.com.

Changes

We may update this policy as the site evolves. Material changes will be noted on this page with a revised date.
